APPROVED PROGRAMS

We have a large array of course content ready to get your staff fully certified!  RadiationAcademy.com is an educational platform designed to provide individuals operating X-Ray machines with meeting high-quality education.  Our modules are a designed to train your staff on the most current standards of care. The library contains clinical and non-clinical courses to help clinics improve competency, reduce risk, and maintain compliance when it comes to radiation safety.

This training includes both clinical and didactic components such as:

Fundamentals of Healthcare

An overview of healthcare fundamentals with emphasis on the limited diagnostic radiology technician’s role, professionalism, and inter-professional collaboration.



Medical Terminology

This course covers medical terminology with a focus on diagnostic imaging, teaching students to interpret and build terms related to anatomy, pathology, procedures, and patient care in limited radiology practice.



Patient and Care Management

This course equips students with the knowledge and skills to provide safe, effective, and compassionate patient care in limited diagnostic radiology, emphasizing communication, basic assessments, infection control, and safe transfer techniques.

Human Anatomy and Physiology

This course provides an overview of human anatomy and physiology, focusing on body systems relevant to limited diagnostic radiology and their connection to imaging procedures, positioning, and common pathologies.

Imaging Production and Evaluation

This course introduces the principles of radiographic image production and evaluation, emphasizing image quality factors, equipment operation, technique selection, image critique, and identifying common positioning and exposure errors.

Imaging Equipment and Radiation Production

This course covers the principles of radiographic equipment operation, radiation production, imaging systems, exposure factors, and safe equipment use.

Radiation Protection and Radiobiology

This course teaches the principles of radiation protection and radiobiology, focusing on biological effects, exposure minimization, regulatory standards, monitoring, and safe practices in diagnostic radiology.

CONTINUING EDUCATION

To maintain certification, you must complete continuing education coursework every 12 - 24 months to the date of initial training.  We provide continuing education coursework and assessments to keep your staff trained in the most up to date methods.
